Compact and feisty
The RS3 has now entered the league of the chosen ones and has been modified by our engineers to become one of the coveted R models. And the result is astounding. From the engine to the interior - this compact simply exudes class.
The standard, relatively "lightweight" RS3, delivers 400 HP (294 kW) at 500 Nm, so is guaranteed to make you feel the G’s. But it is precisely here that every additional power stage becomes noticeable. So our engineers have made it their task to extract a further 100 HP from the fireball. This has been made possible not only by our high-tech control unit ABT Engine Control, but also by the specially developed flow-optimised intercooler, which, in conjunction with the AEC, now unleashes 500 HP (368 kW) and 600 Nm from the five-cylinder engine. This is also reflected in its smooth acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds instead of 3.8 seconds. Your own 4-wheeled jet.

Ready for take-off in the ABT hangar
It is not only the engine of the ABT RS3-R that is feisty, but also its exterior. With its front lip, front flics, mirror caps, rear skirt insert and the ABT rear spoiler in glossy carbon fibre and the glossy black wing add-ons, the compact far from hides its light under a bushel.
The ABT 4-pipe endpipe trims in matt black stainless steel, each 95 millimetres in diameter, round off the confident appearance.
The extremely lightweight HR High Performance rims, sports anti-roll bar and the optional height-adjustable sports suspension with individual adjustment options provide significantly improved road holding and thus even better handling.
The RS3-R sedan can also be upgraded accordingly.

The aerodynamic components, engine, chassis and rims have been perfectly selected by our engineers.
And for the right "cockpit feeling", we have also modified the interior. When the door is opened, the elegant light projection with the ABT logo appears and welcomes the "pilot" as he enters the vehicle.
Other high-quality details such as the ABT floor mats, door sill trims, the ABT Start-Stop switch cap and, last but not least, the refinement of the seats with the ABT and RS3-R logo also entice you to come “on board”. The optional ABT gearshift paddles, seat frame covers and dashboard cover complete the overall look.

Raising the speed limit - ABT App
A very special feature is the new myABT app. The RS3-R's speed limiter can only be deactivated via the app.
Just download the app and connect it to your ABT Engine Control. Then call up the menu item "Functions on Demand" and your V-max lift will be automatically activated at no extra charge.
In addition to deactivating the maximum speed limiter, you also have the option of calling up a range of engine-relevant parameters, or you can use the practical petrol station finder.
