We, the ABT Sportsline GmbH team, process your data when you use the app. The processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

ABT Sportsline processes personal data that customers pass on to us (by using the app).

• Vehicle make
• Vehicle model
• Vehicle engine type

Optional information:

Certain information is optional in the user account and can be added later.

Examples of this are:

• Date of birth
• Federal state
• Interest in certain vehicles
• Interest in certain products
• Interest in certain topics

The data collected is used exclusively for marketing purposes and statistical surveys by ABT Sportsline. Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold to third parties.

4. Use of external services and data transmission to third parties

E-mail services

ABT Sportsline uses the external system Cleverreach to send newsletter e-mails.

In this process, the email address, language, first name and last name are transmitted to the respective service provider. This personal data is processed by Cleverreach on behalf of ABT Sportsline and is used solely for the purpose of sending e-mails.

To analyse the performance of e-mails (delivery rate, ...), these systems use a pixel tracking mechanism, which makes it possible to track whether the recipient has opened an e-mail or clicked on a link in the e-mail.

Fuel station finder

We work together with the service of InfoRoad GmbH.

In order to provide you with information about nearby fuel stations, their fuel prices and payment options, the following data is sent to InfoRoad GmbH:

• Current device location
• Preferred fuel type
• Radius in which the search is implemented

The data is not stored by us or by InfoRoad GmbH.

5. Why we process your data

We process your data to provide you with the best possible user experience when using our products.

Customer service: To investigate, resolve and respond to customer enquiries.

Business requirements: We process your data to meet our business needs, but only as long as your rights and interests do not override ours. This includes advertising and marketing in general.

Performance: We process data to monitor, analyse and improve the use of our products and services and to protect the security and/or integrity of the products and their performance and functionality.

Research and development. We process data, including public feedback, to drive further development of our products as part of research and development and to provide a better, more intuitive and personalised experience for our users and to drive user growth and commitment to our products.

Marketing in general: We process data for you in order to be able to supply you with (tailored) marketing material about ABT products and other topics.

Newsletter Marketing: With your consent, we will send you newsletters with information on ABT-related topics.

Compliance: We process your data to comply with our obligations and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
 

6. Newsletter

Registration / Cancellation / Withdrawal

We only send newsletters under the following conditions:

• The customer subscribes to our newsletter list via our website www.abt-sportsline.de. In this case, subscription takes place in a so-called double opt-in process, i.e. after registration, you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to prevent unauthorised registration using other people's e-mail addresses.
• The customer subscribes via our app. Here, too, the registration takes place in the so-called double opt-in procedure.

You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. In doing so, your consent to its dispatch will expire at the same time. A link to cancel the newsletter can be found at the end of each newsletter.

Use of the "Cleverreach" shipping service provider

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in these notes, are stored on Cleverreach's servers. Cleverreach uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, Cleverreach may, according to its own information, use this data to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletters, or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, Cleverreach does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself, nor does it pass the data on to third parties.

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletters contain so-called "tracking pixels", which enable the creation of statistical surveys and analyses. This "pixel" collects information on opening and clicking behaviour, among other things. This information is used to technically improve the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour.

The evaluations enable us to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content that matches the interests of our users.

7. Disclosure of personal data

Other than to our newsletter service provider Cleverreach, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

8. How long we store data

Retention period: We store your data until you object to the storage and if this is required by law (due to warranty, limitation or retention periods) or otherwise.

Deletion of personal data: If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at info@abt-sportsline.de. Data that serve to uniquely identify a customer (e.g. e-mail address) are made anonymous by deletion, so that it is no longer possible to make inferences about the identity of the user.

A deletion request does not affect data if retention is required by law for accounting or billing purposes, for example.
 

9. Cookies and similar technology

The app may use cookies and similar technology. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. The app may use cookies for a range of purposes, including remembering login details or collecting statistical data. The user can configure their internet browser to reject cookies or to receive a message when a cookie is sent.

We regularly revise our privacy policy and ensure that it is adhered to when processing your data. The GDPR is the European Union's new legal regulation to protect the privacy of its citizens. 11. Changes to the privacy policy

11.1. General. ABT Sportsline reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time.

11.2. Significant changes. If we make significant changes to our privacy policy, we will notify our users directly in the apps, on the website and/or via email so that users can view the changes before they take effect. Significant changes include more detailed tracking or profiling or the addition of detailed analytics services. If we need the user's consent for a change, we will obtain it before the changes take effect. If a customer does not agree with the changes, it is always possible to delete the customer's personal data completely and permanently.
