CUPRA stands for “Cup Racing”, because SEAT has been successfully taking part in the popular touring car series TCR. With 350 HP (257 kW), the racing cars of the series achieve 17 percent more than the very well motorized stock version of the Leon CUPRA R Sportstourer station wagon does. With 4Drive and DSG transmission, it manages an even 300 HP (221 kW) in the production model.

But we are bringing the “station racer” to the same level in this regard. After the upgrade, the Leon CUPRA R Sportstourer brings a torque of 440 Nm instead of 400 Nm and 350 HP (257 kW) onto the road, which are realized with the auxiliary ABT Engine Control unit. The acceleration and top-speed values after the upgrade are impressive. It masters the standard sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,7 seconds - and only at 260 km/h does acceleration stop.

The ABT suspension springs ensure fun in curves and an even sportier look. They bring the athlete closer to the road, 20 millimeters in the front and 15 in the rear.

A true king in Seat's Leon compact class is the Leon Sportstourer Cupra 300 Carbon Edition, limited to 300 units. And not only because this version is the largest of the Seat Leon Cupra with a length of 4.55 m. With its carbon fibre attachments and double tailpipes, the "Spanish Lion" also becomes a real eye-catcher, which additionally underlines the enormous power of 370 hp (272 kW). This is an enormous 70 HP and 51 kW power gain compared to the original Seat model, which is further enhanced by the ABT Engine Control control unit specially developed by ABT from the otherwise not exactly tame lion.
 
 












To make sure it roars properly, the right exhaust technology is also offered for the lion: the ABT Y-pipe with HJS sports catalytic converter including ECE approval not only gives the Leon the right look, but also the powerful sound.
However, the top versions of the Leon refined by ABT Sportsline do not only compete with real sports cars in terms of sheer power and sound:
