Skoda Kodiaq RS - Nordschleife record holder now with more power

The North Loop of the Nürburgring is considered a definitive touchstone for sporty vehicles. If a car impresses here, it will impress on any road. Racing driver and ring-expert Sabine Schmitz defeated the Green Hell in 9:29.84 minutes in the Kodiaq RS – powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine with twin turbochargers, 240 hp (176 kW) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The absolute best time for a seven-seater SUV!

This is the best platform for our engineers and wenow offer a performance upgrade for the fast Skoda, boosting the drive to a hefty 270 hp (199 kW) with a maximum torque of 540 Nm. In figures, this means a 30-hp increase in the engine and a 40-Nm increase in torque. This is made possible by the performance upgrade ABT Power with the high-tech control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC). After the performance optimisation, the exclusively automatic Kodiaq RS (7-speed DSG) now accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 instead of 7.0 seconds.

Strong like a bear

Drivers of non-RS variants also get their money's worth: drivers can look forward to an SUV that's adequately powerful as a diesel as well as a petrol thanks to ABT Sportsline. The power boost is provided by the ABT Engine Control (AEC) unit. The upgrade gives the 2.0 TSI, for example, 216 HP (159 kW) and up to 360 Nm, turning it into a true alpha. But also the 2.0 TDI doesn't have to hide behind the petrol:

The 2.0 TDI with 190 HP (140 kW) or 150 HP (110 kW) in the production model can also order a boost. We get up to 220 HP (162 kW) or 180 HP (132 kW) from the diesel engine, increasing the maximum torque to 440 or 380 Nm.

More improvements for the Skoda Kodiaq

On the outside, the Skoda can easily compete with its namesake: Instead of mighty paws, the car can be equipped with generously sized alloy wheels from ABT Sportsline, the world's largest tuner for vehicles from the Volkswagen and Audi Group.
Das Felgenangebot umfasst die Designs DR, ER-C, FR und GR und reicht von 18 bis 21 Zoll.

The models range from 18 to 21 inch with the designs DR, ER-C, FR and GR. The alloy wheels differ not only in the design, but also offer different finishes in mystic black, matt black, glossy black. Some variants additionally feature diamond-polished areas for special contrasting effects. Some of these already include a wheel spacer set for a wider track.

Last but not least, ABT suspension springs lower the SUV, which improves the handling in corners and also provides a more coherent aesthetic.
