Today, ABT Sportsline and ExxonMobil have concluded an agreement, which is far more than a co-operation in the field of lubricants. Doing so is only logical because both companies show many similarities in their corporate philosophy and history, as Michael Wallek, head of automotive lubricants at ExxonMobil, points out: “ABT and our energy company both have a long tradition, both are in the market for more than 100 years when it comes to quality. We are very glad that the sports-car manufacturer ABT Sportsline trusts in the technological advantages of Mobil 1 as a first-filling oil.“
Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group, also looks forward to this cooperation: “High-performance vehicles as we produce them simply require the right lubricants. From now on, we will be able to convince our customers of Mobil 1’s technological advantages. Just like our products, this oil is based upon experiences made in motor sports and countless kilometres spent on proving grounds and on the road. It is therefore an ideal product for the target group and above all, it is so dependable that it will never let down our customers.“
So, from now on, Mobil 1 will be the first-filling oil in all cars tuned by ABT Sportsline, which will also recommend to its customers that they use this very ExxonMobil high-performance lubricant for any later oil change as well.
