ABT driver Lucas di Grassi recently scored the title in the Formula E series. Now the tuning division of the German company was able to take home impressive five 1st and 2nd places at the “25th sport auto AWARD”. 13,211 readers of the renowned German car magazine voted on 234 car models in 25 categories in the 2017 poll to select their favorite cars and favorite brands.
The 705 hp ABT RS6+ won the prestigious “Tuning cars – sedans/station wagons over € 80,000” category for the company. The ABT Audi S3 (up to 400 hp) and the R8 V10 (up to 630 hp) also took two 2nd places in “Tuning cars – sedans/station wagons over € 80,000” and “Tuning cars – coupés over € 80,000”.
ABT Sportsline was able to win over the sport auto readers not only with individual products, but also with its overall brand performance. In the “Engine tuning” section, the company achieved the 1st place with an enormously high approval rate of 52.4 % and the 2nd place in “Optical tuning” with 38.7 %.
