All of you know these clichés in motorsport: The race is long, much can happen, perhaps something unexpected occurs. In Formula E it is reality. Everything is possible even from a seemingly hopeless starting place, as Lucas’s fightback in the season opener in Hong Kong proved, when he drove from 19th to the podium.
The drivers and team delivered a masterpiece in Mexico: the crew in the pits, because they had the courage to take a very risky strategy. The mechanics, because they stayed cool during the unscheduled stop. And Lucas di Grassi, because he was incredibly focussed, mistake-free and drove his laps with full control over the energy consumption.
