ABT e-Line, the premium partner of VW Nutzfahrzeuge, is responsible for the "electrification". The ABT e-Line installs the electric motor, the electronics and the underfloor battery in the supplied basic vehicles in such a way to maintain the flexibility of the interior: Thus the Panel van version of the electric Caddy also has a load capacity of up to 4.2 cubic metres. The vehicle has a battery capacity of 37.3 kWh and is driven by a 200 Nm, high-torque electric motor with 83 kW of power.
Battery range up to 159 kilometres according to WLTP
In addition to the panel van version, the ABT e-Caddy is also available as a window panel van (kombi) and as a passenger car with Trendline specification. ABT e-Line electrified vehicles are designed to deliver a top speed of 90 km/h, or optionally up to 120 km/h. The combined range is a maximum of 159 km on one battery charge (up to 167 km in city traffic) according to WLTP. The battery is fully recharged with AC power via a 7.2-kW wallbox in around five hours, or can be charged to 80 percent capacity at a 50 kW quick charging station (CCS) in around 50 minutes.
Special instrument cluster with important additional information
The ABT e-Caddy is offered exclusively as a leasing vehicle, starting at 293 euros net* for the Panel van. The leasing rate calculation is based on the total price, starting at 29,900 euros. The ABT e-Caddy is completely suitable for everyday use, a modified instrument cluster indicates when the battery is charged by braking and when the drive style is particularly energy-saving. Currently, the ABT e-Caddy can be charged at over 42,000 charging points throughout Germany – or simply at home via a wallbox.
