That’s why the ABT RS3 450 is no longer only characterised by its Olympian power of approx. 450hp/ 331kW and ca. 550 Nm. After a “visit” to
ABT Individual, this compact superstar will also have a customised look.
The outside is dominated by a matt red with a pearlescent finish and an offset black rear. The interior, now in a black Alcantara, shows an exciting contrast. Silver seams and corresponding carbon look components unfold their full visual and sporty effect. The door beads and trims, seat lining, center console and seat buckets are also made of the silver material and all bear the ABT logo.
Regarding wheels, ABT’s history as a former blacksmith’s shop comes into play. The 19‘‘ ER-F is, after all, a forged wheel, which, by comparison with a cast wheel, has the advantage of a very tight material structure, which, in turn, makes for much more stable and thus lighter wheels. ABT Power S gives the RS3 450 Individual approx. 450hp/ 331kW, which gets the ultimate grip by 235/35 ZR19 tyres by Continental. Springs lower it by about 30mm on the front and 25 mm on the rear axle. In combination, this means a much better handling. Next to the specially developed ABT Engine Control unit, other performance-enhancing parts include a large intercooler and a sport-type exhaust system with four black chrome-plated tail pipes and a diameter of 102mm.
And if some customers should still want even more, ABT Individual, a programme launched in 2015, also provides a huge number of other unique options. So the RS3 is really one of a kind.
