The dynamic ABT SQ5

And the 340 hp (250 kW) Audi SQ5 plus is even better: ABT Sportsline has given it 380 hp (289 kW), with torque at 780 Nm (up from 700 Nm).

An SUV should be sporty and chic, and that is how the ABT SQ5 was designed. The Bavarian engineers have given their all. For the Q5 is an elegant car to begin with, so it forms an ideal basis for us. After all, the team handles Audi SUVs with precision and preserve their character, underscore it even and lend it more assertiveness and dynamism. Designers and engine experts work hand in hand here.

And the SQ5 is impressive indeed. The 3.0 TDI comes in three variants, all very racy: The original 313 hp (230 kW) has been “ABTed up” to 360 hp (265 kW), torque from 650 Nm to 700 Nm. The 3l 326 hp (240 kW) engine is now rated 365 hp (268 kW) and shows 710 Nm. And the 340 hp (250 kW) Audi SQ5 plus is even better: ABT Sportsline has given it 380 hp (289 kW), with torque at 780 Nm (up from 700 Nm).

The ABT POWER is complemented by height adjustable suspension springs to lower the CoG by 5 – 30 mm on the front axle and 10 – 35 mm on the rear. This doesn’t only make the ABT SQ5 look more striking, it now also handles better when cornering. The springs go very well with the 4WD and the extravagant looks: front skirt, front grille, door strip attachments, fender extensions and a rear wing certainly form an assertive unit. This includes the ABT Sound Control, making the diesel sound like a sports car dressed up as an SUV.

The ideal wheels here are the ABT Sportsline CR, DR, ER-C and FR, available in various dimensions and with premium high-performance tires. Which design you choose in 20, 21 or even 22’’ is up to you, of course.
